Restrooms: Women's

Public Area

Women's restrooms are available on both the upper and lower library levels at the following locations:

  • SRC 2026: West side of the lower level, between library classrooms SRC 2025 and SRC 2030
  • SRC 3108: Eastern-most hallway on the upper level
  • SRC 3153: North end of the upper level, adjacent to library classroom SRC 3152

Atlas Stand

Our Atlas Stand hosts oversized atlases. The Atlas Stand is located on the lower level next to the main staircase. Additional atlases are included in our Reference and General collections and can be found by searching the library catalog.

Charging Stations

Public Area
Lower Level

The Library has two universal device charging stations. Both are located on the Library's lower level: one is on the countertop near our public copiers in the Print Center and the second one is in the Media Lab.

Both charging stations include universal adapters for use with a variety of smartphones, cameras, and other portable devices.

Check out the DuPage County Bike Trailsposted by the county.

The Forest Preserve District of DuPage has a list of events occurring across the county and suggested activities under "Things to Do."

Everytrail has posted a list of the best hikes in Illinois.

Interested in preserving the local environment in addition to appreciating it? A Citizen's Guide to Preserving the Fox River has posted a list of hiking and camping along the Fox River as well as environmental tips.

If you'd like to battle nature, USA Today posted a list of fishing spots in DuPage County.

Remember that the Morton Arboretum is very close to COD's main campus, and in addition to being a great place to visit, has educational resources and a list of events.

The DuPage Birding Club also has some great resources and events.

Microform Collection

Upper Level

Our collection of microform contains back issues of periodicals, newspapers, and other serial publications ranging from as early as the year 1916.

Our microform collection and microform viewer are located on the upper level in the northwest corner. Two additional microform viewers, from which you can print paper copies of microfilm, are located behind the Computing Support & Printing Services desk on the lower level.

A second collection of microform, called the Human Relations Area Files (HRAF), is held separately.
